Myths, Greatness & Progress

Myths are part of the Native American's religion. That's how things were passed down from generation to generation.
When I talked to Autumn about yesterday's class, she said one of the questions Mr. Viles asked was if we would rather be great or successful. I would definitely rather be great. What kind of person you are is so muc more important than how much money you make.
One thing I knew what Mr. Viles was talking about was progress. We have regressed, too. Our progress includes technology, transportation, etc...But we've regressed. Americans are becoming obese and lazy. We aren't as hardworking as we were 100 years ago. And thank you Emily for telling the class my idea about knowledge. :-)

Why do you want to take God out of the pledge.. our country was founded with christian beliefs by christians if we remove God we are erasing him from our everyday lives and excluding the fact that history wrote it... what about the people that are christians if you remove God from teh pledge you are offending millions of US citizens around the world. Should we change history for certain people when it offends others? what makes those peoples ideas of removing God from the pledge more imporant from leaving it in and not messing with history?
